This week in Fedora (2018w23)
This week, many upstream projects saw new releases (especially elementary projects, in preparation for the elementaryOS 5.0 beta), and I was finally able to update the jekyll package in fedora to the latest version (it finally works again, even without internet access). Additionally, the syncthing fedora package is now up-to-date again, after having had to deal with the issue of some outdated dependencies for some weeks.
fedora updates
I've finally been able to update the jekyll package in fedora rawhide to the latest upstream release (v3.8.2). In preparation for that, some new ruby gems had to be packaged for fedora, and other, already existing gems had to be updated to newer versions. As of this week, jekyll on rawhide is fully functional with default settings and default theme - even without internet access or having to manually install additional ruby gems.

I've finally been able to update the syncthing package in fedora to the latest version (v0.14.47 was skipped in fedora due to dependency conflicts). The syncthing GUI was also updated to the latest upstream version, which drops its built-in inotify support in favor using the inotify functionality present in new versions of syncthing.

A new version of sequeler was released this week, and the fedora packages were updated accordingly. However, due to longstanding issues with the libgda database abstraction library, MySQL / MariaDB support is still missing.
