This week in Fedora (2019w03)

This week, I've added two new python packages to fedora in preparation for packaging poetry, and pushed other minor updates for some packages. There were also two updates for the Appcenter packages I maintain in my COPR repository (alias and Spice-up).

fedora updates

python packages

I've submitted two new python packages for fedora, both in preparation for eventually packaging poetry for fedora. Due to unavailable or outdated dependencies, that will only happen for fedora 30+, but tomlkit is useful for other projects, too.

I've also updated the txtorcon to the latest upstream release. According to the release notes, it only brings additional functionality, so I pushed it to all currently active fedora releases.

elementary packages

I updated the Wingpanel package for fedora to the latest version, too - this version includes a fix for a visual glitch, and improved translations.

I also updated the package for the minitest-reporters ruby gem to the latest version for a simple crasher fix.

COPR updates

The latest version of the alias bash alias manager brings improved translations, and makes it a single-instance application.

The latest Spice-up release brings a lot of new features and improvements, among them multi-file editing, additional keyboard shortcut tooltips, new keyboard shortcuts, and more.
