This week in Fedora (2019w16)
Looks like a pretty average week again. Some updates for elementary packages, and some rubygem updates. But, it seems like things are starting to get "interesting" again, right in time before the stable release of fedora 30.
fedora updates
elementary(*) packages
I updated the fedora package for the sequeler SQL client to the latest version, which includes minor interface responsiveness fixes and dependency cleanups.

A new version of the Photos application from elementary was also released this week, and package updates are on their way to supported fedora releases. The new version includes fixes for building against newer versions of the GExiv2 library for reading image metadata and updated translations. However, the change seems to introduce new issues, which I addressed in a downstream patch for now.

I also updated the package for Music to the latest version, which brings some minor interface improvements and code cleanups, in addition to updated translations.

The latest version of the elementary GTK theme contains visual fixes and improvements for some GTK widgets and adds support for styling some elements of GNOME Builder.

ruby packages
I also updated my ruby package for the jekyll-toc gem to the latest version, which only contains cosmetic changes.

The latest version of the pry-nav gem is also on its way to all currently supported fedora releases, and it brings greater compatibility with more versions of the pry gem.

COPR packages
I updated the package for the quilter Markdown editor in my elementary-appcenter COPR repository to the next version, which brings support for embedding local images, and also contains "many minor fixes".
